Specialized Program

250-Hour Deep Tissue Massage

Go beyond the surface. This program builds the anatomical depth and hands-on mastery required to work effectively with chronic pain, postural dysfunction, and deep musculoskeletal tension โ€” areas where most therapists lack true precision.

Program Overview

Mastery Requires More Than 48 Hours

A standard deep tissue workshop runs 48 hours โ€” enough to learn strokes, not enough to master tissue. True deep tissue work demands anatomical precision: knowing exactly which muscle you're targeting, how it connects to adjacent structures, and how to release chronic holding patterns without causing discomfort.

NYMI's 250-hour program was designed to fill that gap. Students spend significant time in applied anatomy before ever working in depth โ€” learning to palpate individual muscles, identify fascial restrictions, and locate trigger points with accuracy. Technique follows understanding.

The result is a practitioner who can work confidently with clients presenting chronic pain, postural dysfunction, athletic injuries, and stress-held tension patterns โ€” the clients most therapists refer out.
